1999 Chevy Tahoe Rear Door Power Lock Not Working

1999 tahoe 4 door 4x4 the driver passenger side power door locks are intermittently or not working at all. Here is my story. However vehicles without door lock cylinders will not be able to lock or unlock the doors until power is restored. If they do not then you may have a bigger issue.

Very frustrating have always owned chevy but with oil cunsumption and this problem it will probably my last one. The drivers side pdl never responds when the switch is used and the passenger occasinally works. One of the easiest ways to diagnose the switch is by trying to use other door locks in the car. The rear barn door does t work as well.

If they work then you ve narrowed down your problem. Years ago the rear right door lock quit working but that is just extra info. It is a 2002 honda accord 4cyl special edition. The other three door locks work fine when it is not hot.

However when it is hot 104 f like it was today the locks do not respond to any of the switches driver front passenger. The driver lock has completely quit and the other 3 doors work randomly.
