2005 Trailblazer Rear Door Lock Will Not Latch

2005 chevy trailblazer lift gate will not latch and stay shut i took the modual out all rusted and shot need to replace can i get this part from a parts store.

I had the panel on the inside off and the latch assembly out. I can t shut my door because the latch won t connect i opened the door. Open the hatch and slip a screwdriver s shaft into the opening of the latch simulating that the latch has engaged the metal bar on the floor of the suv. When the key was removed from the ignition the key buzzer would continue to sound.
